Because of the generosity of our donors, our mission is springing forward with the addition of a home we are calling Annie’s Place. This house is named to honor the memory of Annie TreVere Kelley. Annie is the daughter of Kathy Heerema our board member and supporter from the onset of the Homestead Community. Annie lost her life to brain cancer last September. She was a shining light, kind, generous, humorous and full of unconditional love as a mother, wife, daughter, sister and best friend. All of these traits will be infused into the home as her spirit lives on in Annie’s Place. The house will become a home to 4-6 children in foster care who will benefit from all the attributes that Annie embodied. We will begin the renovation in May, with hope to house children in the fall. Of course, your support is paramount to making this happen!
