Washington state is facing a crisis in the foster care program where demand is outstripping supply for foster homes. Our biggest impact is to give children in receiving home care a soft place to land after trauma. Receiving home care is used when need for placement is immediate and time does not allow for planning to place children
directly into regular foster care or alternate care.

Homestead provides affordable housing to those with a heart for foster care with a specific focus on receiving care. We also help fill the gap with the immediate needs
for the children and youth coming out of trauma and support the families that foster them.
